Tired Eyes

I am tired today. Various factors are contributing to this.
1. Didn't get a full night's sleep- I need my 8 hours!
2. I work with little kids... and you betcha they were an energetic bunch today!
3. It didn't end there, I had to go teach music lessons for a few hours afterwards.
4. The weather sucks... it's cold, wet, and cloudy. You know what the best thing is to do on days like this? Stay in bed and get up once to eat a bowl of HOT spicy ramen noodles. Note: Write a post about how to make delicious ramen. ^.~

The only thing that will cure me is to take a nice hot shower/bath and get to bed early. I don't drink coffee because it makes me super jittery and my eyes feel like this: 0.0 Which is a shame because I really do like coffee... =(

During the week, I don't wear makeup because it's really pointless to get gussied up for little children. It's not like they're going to compliment me, "Ms. Andrea, I love the color of your eyeshadow today!" But on the weekends when I go out with my boyfriend or BFFs, I like to put on a little somethin' to make them feel special. ^.~ You know, like they're the only ones I do that for. LoL

I needed something to brighten up my under eyes because they tend to get a weird shadow when I'm tired. It's grayish with a tinge of green or something. Regular concealers and foundations just made it look more green. (Ew.) I think it has to do with my Asian skin which has yellow tones in it.
I did some research on brightening the under eye and found this:

Almay's Wake Up Under Eye Concealer took care of all my problems. It's water-based with cooling agents such as cucumber to sooth the sensitive skin and caffeine to rejuvenate it. I think the minerals in it help to capture light to create the brightening effect. I squeeze a little onto a clean finger and dab it under my eyes, patting gently until it blends. By the time I finished putting on my make up, it looks like I got plenty of sleep the night before!
This product is definitely not for everyone. It's a lightweight formula so if you have serious circles and puffiness, it most likely won't work well for you. I don't get circles and rarely get puffy eyes so this is probably better for people who have a mild showing of tired eyes like I do.

Anyway, I can hear a torrential downpour outside so I am off to escape into the tub!
