Detoxing in Georgia... LoL

Warning: This is a TMI post. If you feel like you don't want to become close bosom buddies with me and my bodily functions then don't read.

I haven't updated my blog in the last few days as I am at my parents house. I've been spending some quality time with them as well as settling into the Georgian atmosphere for the past three days. It's a little warmer than the frigid cold I left in NJ but I've been cold still since my parents awesomely skimp on the heat to keep the bill low. I am cozied up next to a space heater as we speak. =)

One interesting thing has happened since I've been here- I am able to breathe a lot better here. I am one of those lucky people who suffer from sinusitis... it recently came upon me during the last year. It's super gross as I have to blow my nose ALL the time using tissue after tissue and I am constantly stuffy. I have been to a doctor who didn't really seem to take me seriously. She suggested I do a sinus rinse (which helps but I reeeeeaaalllyy hate doing it) and prescribed a nasal spray (that didn't do much) and some antibiotics (which I'm pretty sure did nothing).
Anyway, I feel that my sinuses have been getting a better chance at staying dry in this air and I blow my nose less often. What does that tell me? NJ air is really terrible...

Another thing happens EVERY time I visit my parents. My digestive system becomes... regular.. if you know what I mean. It's a combination of being at ease and eating homemade Korean food. When I'm here I rarely eat out, I have three square meals a day with a balance of protein and vegetables, as well as plenty of fruit. My bathroom here and I are good buddies. =)
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner consists of rice, kimchi, veggie side dishes (banchan), some sort of protein (fish or chicken), and a nice hot soup. Does it get monotonous? Not really. My mom is an awesome cook and lately she's had to try harder to make delicious food because of my dad's health. It's not easy to make the food you've cooked for over 20 years blander yet still make people want to eat it. She is doing a great job though. I may be "detoxing" but I could get fat still eating all her delicious food. ^.^

What will become of me when I return to NJ? =(

Mommy made this today... it's gonna be awesome in three days!
