Video Double-Whammy!

I had been meaning to make a video review on some skin care products I had used up for a while now.  It was just really hard finding not only the time but also having the energy to do it.  Luckily, today I had both so while the Boyfriend was out, I quickly filmed not just one but TWO videos!  (Giving myself a pat on the back.)  =D

First up is my little haul video.  My tastes in style have been changing a little bit lately- adjusting to the new season's trends and fashions.  Combined with a wiser approach to how I spend my money, I'm definitely not as quick to put down the moollah for every cute thing I see or try on.  My body's undergone some natural changes and I've also been working out quite a bit lately so I don't want to end up with a bunch of things I'm going to regret.
I'll elaborate more in the near future but in the meantime, hit the jump for the video madness!

Delightful Shepherd's Pie

I like Sheperd's Pie a lot but the one issue I have when I order it from restaurants is that there is so much oil oozing out of the meat.  Of course, part of it has to do with the fact that it's usually ground beef (although traditionally, I believe it's supposed to be lamb).  Topped with the mashed potatoes, it makes for a really heavy dish.  Most restaurants are pretty smart about serving Shepherd's Pie in reasonably small to normal portions.
So today, I give you a recipe for a slightly lighter Shepherd's Pie that can be modified to be even lighter if you wish!

A Bra-piphany

One morning as I was getting ready for work, I rummaged through my drawers to get dressed.  The first thing I was reaching for was my black bra.  Sadly, the bra had finally given out and the underwire had sprung free from it's sheath.  What was I to do?  I put on another bra instead and made a mental note to buy a new bra within the week.

I was not looking forward to bra shopping at all.  By some twist of fate, I am endowed with quite a sizable chest for an Asian female.  I have a really hard time finding comfortable bras because either the straps are too restricting or the cups don't fit right.  I usually have to take in an array of sizes with me into the fitting room and even then, I'll be lucky if I find even one comfortable.
