Looking Pretty for a Wedding

I had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend with the boyfriend as we went up to Connecticut to celebrate my college roommate's wedding.  One of my best friends was gracious enough to let us stay with her and her husband so I got to spend some time with her as well!
The bride had hired a make up/hair team to come in early in the morning to beautify her, the wedding party, and a few other female family members.  I signed up to get my hair done but I decided to do my own make up to save a little money.

I got a little nervous when I saw the other girls getting airbrushed with Temptu by the make up artists- afraid that my own handiwork wouldn't be able to match up.  In the end though, I think I did a decent job and it held up well with the other two girls in the wedding party.  The only thing I missed out on were the fake eyelashes!

The products I used were:
IOPE BB Cream Redness Control Formual with SPF 20 for all skin types (acted as a primer)
Almay Naturals Foundation in Buff Chamois (Not my favorite because of the oily base but does provide full coverage)
Almay Wake Up Undereye Concealer 020 Light (previously reviewed)
L'Oreal Infallible Correcter Concealer Stick 678 Light Clair (blends very well with excellent coverage)
Clinique Blush in 108 Cupid (Perfect for a subtle cheeks)
Rimmel London Quad Eye Shadow 003 Smokey Purple (worked okay but I should invest in something with  higher pigmentation)
Selma Hayek's Nuance Gel Eyeliner 030 Black (glides on beautifully but has a tendency to smudge)
Maybelline Define a Lash Waterproof Mascara Very Black (LOVE!!!!)
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Highlighter (was a gift and is good for lightening up high points on your face for more depth)
Clinique Long Last Lipstick 16 Pink Chocolate (I like Clinique's lipsticks because they don't dry out my lips and glide on smooth)

So most of my arsenal came from CVS.  Not bad right?
As for my hair, the hair team at Larissa Lake Studios did a great job.  I have so much thick hair but she managed to tame it away into a beautiful twist that I could only dream of doing on my own.

Here's the whole look:

Bridesmaid dresses were from Bill Levkoff and my silver shoes are from Michael Kors.  I wore jewelry gifted from the bride that she ordered from Etsy.
Can you tell I really need a tan?  My legs are so pale it looks like I'm wearing nylons! x(
(And yes that is a skinned knee I am sporting because I still trip over things like a 9 year old!)

Overall, it was a fantastic wedding and a fantastic weekend.  Here's a picture of the bride and groom to see you off:
